| Japan Airlines to Give Away Business Class Ticket and 1,000,000 Miles |

El Segundo, CA – March 13, 2006: Japan Airlines American Region headquarters has announced that its loyalty program, JAL Mileage Bank, will give away an international round-trip business class ticket to its one-millionth member. In addition, 100 randomly selected members will receive a total of one million miles. The one-millionth member is expected to enroll soon and JAL will award him or her with an international round-trip award ticket to Japan in JAL Executive Class – Seasons. What's more, JMB members who have registered their e-mail addresses will be eligible for a chance to win 10,000 miles each. To qualify, addresses must be registered before membership hits this important milestone. Members benefit in a variety of ways. Miles can be earned by flying on JAL Group or JMB partner airlines, such as American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific and LAN; by staying at any of over 7,600 JMB partner hotels worldwide; or by using JMB's partner companies offering such services as car rental and cellular phone rental. Members can redeem accumulated mileage for a wide range of travel awards on JAL Group and JMB partners including American Airlines, Harmony Airways and LAN. JMB miles can also be redeemed for free stays at over 100 hotels worldwide. Exclusive services and benefits are offered to JAL's most frequent flyers through the JMB FLY ON program and JAL Global Club (JGC). JAL Mileage Bank began in 1983 as JAL Mileage Bank USA. Worldwide JMB membership now exceeds 18 million and is the largest airline frequent flyer program in Japan. Membership is free and enrollment can be completed online. JAL Group gateways in the American Region include New York, Chicago, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Honolulu, Kona, Vancouver, Mexico City and São Paulo. The airline offers travelers a global network that serves 206 airports in 34 countries. |
