About Check-in KIOSK and Baggage Self-Drop at Honolulu Daniel K. Inouye International Airport
JAL is pleased to inaugurate its first Baggage Self-Drop System at Honolulu Daniel K. Inouye International Airport.
Customers will be able to check in and drop their baggage without waiting in line at the counters.
How to use
Step 1 Check in at an automated KIOSK.
The KIOSK will issue your boarding pass and baggage tag. Easy-to-understand instructions will guide you on the KIOSK screen. Up to six travelers can check in with a single transaction. Attach the baggage tags to each piece of baggage and proceed to the Baggage Self-Drop area.
Step 2 Check baggage.
Scan the boarding pass, and following the instructions on the Baggage Self-Drop screen. Place the baggage on the belt as instructed, one piece at a time. Once your baggage moves to the end of the belt, it has been accepted.
- *Please ask staff for assistance if you have oversized or overweight baggage, as the Baggage Self-Drop does not accept these.
