Asahi Shimbun Digital gives you digital access to the printed morning edition of the Asahi Shimbun newspaper and breaking news stories. It also provides various online features such as the ability to scrapbook news articles and search for older news articles from the past one year, all of which is accessible from your computer, tablet or smartphone. Asahi Shimbun Digital can be viewed from anywhere around the world.
By subscribing to the Asahi Shimbun Digital JAL Mileage option, JMB members will earn 3,000 miles and JAL Family Club members will earn 5,000 miles.

Calculating mileage
For every new subscription (JPY3,800 per month for 13 months (first month free)) or renewed annual subscription of the Asahi Shimbun Digital JAL Mileage option, JMB members will earn 3,000 miles and JAL Family Club members will earn 5,000 miles.
How to accumulate mileage

Notes
- Subscriptions to any option or package other than the Asahi Shimbun Digital JAL Mileage option are ineligible for mileage credit.
- If you cancel your subscription before the end of your subscription period, an early termination fee will be applied according to your subscription period. More information can be found on the subscription page.
- The price of this option is based on taxes as of October 2019 and is subject to change based on future tax revisions.
- Your subscription may be cancelled if deemed inappropriate on rational grounds.
