How to Travel Around Tokyo
Tokyo is vast and busy, but its efficient public transport makes light work of travel. For seamless journeys, buy an IC card (such as SUICA or PASMO) which works on all of Tokyo’s subway lines, buses and city trains.
Tokyo has two major airports. To reach central Tokyo from Haneda Airport (HND), take the Tokyo Monorail or the Keikyu Railway train. If you’re travelling from Narita Airport (NRT), hop on the JR Narita Express (NEX) – the journey takes about an hour.
