There are many types of hotpots, but why not go out and try imoni and imotaki, which feature fluffy taro as the main ingredient? From autumn to winter, when taro is in season, imoni and imotaki are rooted as local dishes in various regions, and there are what are known as the "Three Great Imoni of Japan." These are the imoni of Ozu City, Ehime Prefecture, the imoni of Nakayama Town, Yamagata Prefecture, and the imoni of Tsuwano Town, Shimane Prefecture.
