About JAL Shinkong Bank Card

JAL Shinkong Bank Card is a credit card for Taiwan residents, enabling you to earn miles for purchases made in Taiwan dollars.

1. Annual fee waiver

There is no annual fee for the first year.
In the second and subsequent years, the annual fee of TWD 2,000 will be waived by spending TWD 20,000 annually.

2. Earn miles

While you shop

Earn miles based on the amount you spend on your JAL Shinkong Bank Card, whether for travel or everyday purchases, after you spend TWD 3,000 during the billing cycle.

  • Members signed up for automatic bill payments or paperless statements are not subject to the minimum TWD 3,000 spending limit.
  • Payment of taxes, interest on revolving credit, default fines, merchandise returns, or fees are not eligible for mileage accumulation.

  • Purchases made in the Taiwan area: Earn 1 mile for every TWD 40 spent
  • Purchases made outside the Taiwan area: Earn 2 miles for every TWD 40 spent
  • JAL flight tickets purchases via the JAL website or designated travel agents: Earn 2 miles for every TWD 40 spent

When you fly
10% bonus miles for every eligible flight traveled

From July 20, 2020 (flight date), receive 10% sector bonus miles in addition to standard flight miles for every eligible flight traveled.

  • *Flight must be a JAL Group flight that is traveled at fares eligible for earning JMB miles.
  • *Bonus miles are credited for flights traveled after completing the application process.

50% bonus for JAL international Business Class ticket purchases

Earn 1.5x shopping miles when you purchase Business Class tickets for JAL international flights.
To receive bonus miles, please prepare a copy of your ticket or boarding pass and contact Shinkong Bank (+886-2-2171-1055).

3. Earn Life Status Points

For spending reflected on/after April 1, 2024, 5 Life Status Points will be credited to your JMB account for every 1,500 miles* earned on your JAL Shinkong Bank card. As you earn Life Status Points, you will receive a variety of benefits and services based on the number of points in your account.
