Flight Hotel Diving Activity
If you wish to fly with JAL and book a package including **hotel accommodations** and **Chiba Ito Diving**, please follow the instructions below.
Booking Flow:
- Select the dates you want to go to Japan and the date you want to come back from Japan and input "Tateyama" as your destination. Tateyama is where Bommie is located.
- Select “Only need a hotel for part of my trip” and choose the dates you want to stay.
- For the hotel choices, only choose "Tateyama Resort Hotel" If you wish to receive the free pick-up and drop-off service from the hotel to Bommie.
- If you cannot find "Tateyama Resort Hotel" from the hotel choice list,, please book with Plan3 **Diving Activity** and book your accommodation through an other online travel platforms such as Booking.com, Agoda, or Hotels.com. - Choose your preffered flights
- Select your desired **diving option** under the “Add an activity” section.
Choose from the following Chiba Ito Diving options:
- 1 day / 2 dives
- 2 days / 4 dives
- 3 days / 6 dives
- 4 days / 8 dives

- If you cannot find "Tateyama Resort Hotel" from the hotel choice list,, please book the diving only Plan3 **Diving Activity** and then book your accommodation through other online travel platforms such as Booking.com, Agoda, or Hotels.com. - After booking your hotel, select your desired **diving option** under the “Add an activity” section.

Fly JAL to maximize your sports vacation in Japan
Japan Airlines is assisting Skiers, Golfers, Divers and Cyclists traveling to Japan.
An Extra Checked Baggage allowance for Sports Equipment (eg: skis, clubs, diving gear and bicycles)
Fly Japan Airlines to enjoy Skiing, Golf, Diving and Cycling in Japan. For a limited time, we are offering an extra checked baggage allowance for overseas travelers bound for Japan with their sports equipment.

HOW TO APPLY
• To apply, please contact our contact center no later than one day prior to your flight’s departure date.
• In case of a reservation change, please contact our contact center at your location.
COMMON RULE
1) Campaign applicable contents: Sports Equipment (Ski and snowboard equipment, golf equipment, bicycles, diving equipment, including underwater photography equipment) are exempted from 1PC of excess baggage charge (Fee for Exceeding Free Baggage PC).
For Ski・Snowboard equipment, bicycles, excess size charge will also be exempted from the excess baggage charge (Fee for Exceeding Baggage Size).
2) Maximum size and weight:
Size: Length+ Height+ Width=Total less than 203cm
Weight: F/C 1PC 32kg ,Y/PY 1PC 23kg
APPLICABLE EQUIPMENT
Diving and Underwater Photography Equipment
1) 1 PC of excess baggage (Fee for Exceeding Free Baggage PC) shall be exempted.
When the weight of checked baggage exceeds the free allowance, extra charge is applied.
2) Handling Precautions
Batteries for diving equipment (Light) or cameras must be removed from the main body under dangerous goods regulations.
3) When diving equipment and underwater photography equipment will be accepted, be sure to have the Limited Release signed and placed on the Baggage TAG. Make sure that the passengers diving equipment and underwater photography equipment are well protected.
Terms and Conditions
Campaign period: until March 31, 2025
* Note: If a passenger journey begins during the above period, special handling will continue to apply even after March 31, 2025 for returning flight departing from Japan
Eligibility
• Eligible Passengers
Passengers who take applicable flights with applicable international air tickets and who apply to JL contact center in their respective areas to apply for this campaign by one day before their departure date.
• Eligible itinerary : Itineraries originating from outside of Japan, and its final destination is Japan
• Eligible Ticket
Passengers need to purchase the air ticket outside of Japan. The eligible fare types are fares that are only available outside of Japan.
• Eligible fare types
International tickets including applicable flights (regardless of the ticketing carrier)
International sector includes award ticket and GRP PNR tickets
For domestic flight sector, sector issued within international through itinerary.
Japanese Domestic Flex fare, Japan Explorer Pass、Japan Explorer Pass Plus、JAL Japan Airpass issued by international ticket.
• Eligible flights
International JL flights and JL/NU domestic flights (However, FDA, GK, AMX, RAC and ORC operated flights are excluded.)
* Not applicable to other carrier market codeshare flights and itineraries travelling via Japan
* Not applicable to through-check-in itinerary for connecting to/from another carrier operated flights
Handling in case of transit
• Connecting passengers to/from JAL Domestic flights
[NOTE]
* The international flights must be JL operated flights with JL flight numbers.
* In case of connecting to/from other airline's international flight, this campaign applies only for JAL domestic flights.
Only passengers who have separate tickets for international sector and domestic sector will be eligible.
Through check-in baggage to/from international sector is not permitted.
• Connecting passengers beyond JL International Online Airports
This campaign applies only for JAL operating flights.
Notice Regarding Diving at Chiba Ito Bommie
-Equipment rental is not included in the fee.
As there is only a limited number of rental items, please be sure to request them when making your reservation or bring your own items.
- There are no shops to purchase lunch at Bommie.
Please bring your own lunch or use the Seafood restaurant "Daibo" situated next to Bommie. ("Daibo" is closed on Tuesday)
