JMB Companion Fare includes Class J JMB Companion Fare and JMB Companion Fare.

This fare type is available to groups of 2 to 4 travelers, including a JAL Mileage Bank member, who travel round-trip on the same route, on the same flights, and in the same class. The JAL Mileage Bank member flies for 10,000 miles* and companions fly for a reduced fare.

Each flight has a limited number of seats available. (Some dates, routes, and flights may have no JMB Companion Fare.)

From 9:30 am, 330 days before the departure date,until 4 days before the departure date.

• *The reservation is accepted if both outbound and return flights are within 330 days from the reservation date.

Valid only on the flight reserved.

Please purchase tickets on the date of reservation.

Changes to reservations are not permitted.
If there are empty seats on an earlier flight on the same day on the same route from the same departure airport, travelers may board the earlier flight. All travelers must change flights. (Changes must be made at a check-in counter. They cannot be made from a Self Service Check-in and Ticketing Kiosk.)

A charge will be applied for changes to Class J or First Class at the departure airport on the date of travel.

Same-day upgrade

The JAL Mileage Bank member's miles cannot be refunded.

Refunds can only be given if neither the outbound nor the return flight is completed. No refunds can be given for a single flight.

If the JAL Mileage Bank member cancels, or all companions on the same reservation cancel and only the member remains, the entire group's fares will be refunded.

Cancellations must be made at least 20 minutes prior to the departure time of the reserved flight.
The deadline to receive a refund is 10 days from the day after the ticket expires.

*The JAL Mileage Bank member (the traveler using miles) will not earn flight miles, FLY ON points, or flight counts for FLY ON level achievement.

• It cannot be used in conjunction with other discounted fares.
• Reservations and purchases can only be made via the JAL website.
• All group members must complete their reservations and purchases at the same time. (No additional members can be added after purchase.)
• Users of this fare are not eligible for the JAL Touch & Go boarding. (The JAL Mileage Bank member must check in for all group members at a Self Service Check-in and Ticketing Kiosk or airport counter.)
• Not applicable to standby tickets.
