Important Notices

From July 4, 2024, your 6 digit PIN can no longer be used to access your account.
If you are using your 6 digit PIN as your password, please reset your PIN to a password to comply with the new policy.

Password

Passwords must be at least 8 characters long and contain at least two the following character types: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.

For instructions on how to change your password, please see "Changing your Password" below.

  • From July 4, 2024, your 6 digit PIN cannot be used to access your account, with the exception of use as your telephone password. Please reset your password to comply with the new policy.
  • You can continue to use the 6 digit PIN as your telephone password.

Setting and Changing Passwords

The minimum length is 8 characters.

Passwords must be at least 8 characters long and contain at least two the following character types: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.

Valid examples: "Jmb_2015" or "Jmb20150"

Invalid examples: "123123123" or "abcabcabc" (cannot be registered because they only use one type of character).

Allowed character types: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.

  • Uppercase letters, lowercase letters: A–Z, a–z
  • Numbers: 0–9
  • List of symbols that can be used

] ^ _ {  

The letters in the password are case-sensitive.

Example: You set your password as "Jmb20150"

→ If you enter the letters in a different case, such as "JMB20150" or "jmb20150," your password will not be recognized.

When entering uppercase and lowercase letters, make sure they match those set in your password.

Avoid strings of characters that could be easily guessed by others (such as your full name, date of birth, or phone number).

Examples of things that are easy to guess:

  • Your full name
  • Your date of birth
  • Your ZIP code, address, phone number, or fax number
  • Your email address
  • Your employer or school name
  • Your family name

Changing Your Password

You can do this via "Change password."

Please use the "Reset password" option.

Forgot Your PIN Code?

Log in and go to "Manage your account" on the JAL Mileage Bank top page, then select "Set 6-digit PIN code."

About login registration by ID of a third-party service
