Pay by credit card

You may pay for domestic flight tickets booked through the JAL website or JAL call center (Domestic Reservation and Information) by the following credit cards.
Security code must be entered at the time of payment.

Notice

JAL provides an identity authentication service for credit card payments on the JAL website that complies with the "3D Secure" on Internet payment security standard.
If not registered, there is a possibility that an error will occur in credit card payment.
Please contact your credit card company directly for the 3D Secure password and instructions on how to use the service.

Acceptable credit cards

  • The amount of purchase and annual fee of JALCARD will be billed from affiliated company.

Payment deadline

20 minites prior to the booked flight’s departure

  • If the ticket has a purchase deadline, that deadline applies

How to use

STEP 1

Book a flight ticket

Book your domestic flight ticket through the JAL website or JAL Contact Center.

STEP 2

Pay by credit card

After booking your flights, select "Pay by Credit Card" option, enter your credit card information and security code.
Please make sure to write down the "Ticket number" shown on screen when the payment is completed.

  • The JAL website offers payer authentication services based on the online payment security protocol 3-D Secure.
  • The authentication service is offered by each card issuing companies.Please contact your credit card issuing companies for details on how to use it.

STEP 3

Prepare things needed for the flight

Receipts

You may obtain the receipt via JAL website (display and print receipt online).

Booking changes and cancellations

You may change or cancel your booking through JAL website or JAL call center.

Refunds

Refunds will be returned to the credit card used to purchase the tickets.

  • Please request refunds by the prescribed deadline.

Other

  • Payment may not be possible as a result of certain booking details (number of passengers, itinerary, fares, number of characters in passengers' names, etc.) or of the time of day the payment attempt is made.
  • If your JMB card/JALCARD or the Ticket number cannot be presented on the day of travel, the boarding pass cannot be collected. In such a case, passenger will be required to purchase a new ticket at the airport.
