How fare amounts are determined
The fare amount of domestic fares may change without prior notice.
Fare amount valid on the ticket purchase (issue) date will be applied. Please check the fare amount again at the time of ticket purchase.
If the fare amount is revised after the ticket is purchased, no fare adjustment (charge or refund) will be applied.
For fares that permit reservation change, fare amount may vary depending on the boarding date. If you are changing to a date when new fare amount is effective, the difference between the fare of your ticket and the new boarding date will need to be adjusted (charged or refunded) accordingly.

If you have booked and purchased "One-Way Fare" on April 27 for 28,000 yen (boarding date June 25), then the fare amount changed to 27,000 yen on May 1...
The valid fare amount will be based on the ticket purchase date, so the difference 1,000 yen will not be refunded.

Applicable fare amount
Before ticket purchase: The fare amount as of the time of purchase will apply.
After ticket purchase: If you change your booking after purchase, the fare amount at the time of the change will be apply. This may result in a difference in the fare amount.
Fare changes between booking and purchase

On April 27, you book a Flex ticket on a flight departing June 25th for JPY 28,000. On April 28, the fare decreases to JPY 26,000.
Because the fare amount at the time of purchase applies, the purchase price will be JPY 26,000.
Fare changes after purchase
Base fare amount changes

On April 27, you book and purchase a ticket for flight JAL 101 departing June 25th (Flex: JPY 28,000).
On May 1, the fare amount decreases to JPY 27,000.
Because the fare amount at the time of purchase applies, the difference will not be refunded.
Fare amount changes due to reservation change
(ex.)
On April 27, you book and purchase a ticket on flight JAL 308 departing August 1 (Flex: JPY 33,000).
On May 1, you change your booking from JAL 308 to JAL 306 (Flex: JPY 35,000).
Because the applicable fare amount for the newly booked flight is JPY 35,000 as of the date of the change, you will be charged a difference of JPY 2,000.
