Passengers transferring from Japan Airlines to non-oneworld member airlines
Boarding pass
If you do not have your connecting boarding pass, please carry out the check-in procedure at the connecting airline's transfer counter.
Checked baggage (Re-check)
Regardless of whether your final destination is within the US or abroad, all passengers must go through a customs inspection when entering the United States.
Even if "final destination" is stamped on the baggage tag you were given when you checked your baggage at your departure point, you are still required to collect your baggage here and proceed through Customs.
The baggage collected can be deposited again at the connection bags.
If you are connecting to an airline other than American Airlines and the connection time is limited, it is recommended to take your bag to the check in counter by yourself, as the baggage transfer takes time.
- If your final destination is not printed on your baggage claim tag, please take your bag to the check in counter of the next airline.
- If you do not have your connecting boarding pass,, please proceed to connecting airline`s transfer.
Moving between terminals
Japan Airlines (JL) flights arrive at Terminal D.
Skylink is a free light rail train that connects all five terminals while inside of security.
Terminal Link is a free van shuttle between all terminals once outside of security.
- To reach your connecting terminal, please use the circular monorail (Skylink) which travels between terminals after the security inspection area, or use the shuttle bus that travels between each terminal (Terminal Link). (Both services are free.)

Passengers transferring from non-oneworld member airlines to Japan Airlines
Check-in
Passengers connecting to Japan Airlines flights should go to Dallas/Fort Worth Airport Terminal D, and check in at the Japan Airlines check-in counters.
Even if you have a boarding pass for your Japan Airlines flight, you need to present your passport information to the Immigration Bureau in advance of your flight, so please approach the counter or a boarding gate official.
Checked baggage
If you are connecting from an airport within the United States or Canada, or from an American Airlines international flight, and you checked your baggage through to your final destination at your departure point, you do not need to collect your baggage at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, but it is necessary to verify the baggage tag you were issued upon check-in.

Flagship Lounge is located between departure gate D21 and D22.
Admirals Club Lounge is located between departure gate D23 and D24
