Visit the JAL website and click the "Service Selection (Seat,Meal)" button for your flight on the Booking Details screen.
Meals may be ordered on the "Optional service" screen when booking a new ticket.

  Step1Press the "Request special meal"

  Click the "Request special meal" button on the Booking Details screen.

  Step2Select your desired meal

  Select your desired meal from the pulldown menu, then click the "Continue" button and proceed to the next screen.

  Step3Confirm

  The inflight meal you selected will be shown in the Flight information on the Booking Details screen.
  To make a change, follow the same process.

Passengers can choose from two types of meals: Japanese and Western (Western meals contain beef)

• *Western meals other than the above (meals containing seafood, chicken, etc.) cannot be reserved in advance. Please indicate your preference once you have boarded.

• 25 hours prior to international flight departure (local time)

• *For JL30/JL740, 48 hours prior to international departure (local time).
• *For JL779, 27 hours prior to international departure (local time).

• Please contact reservations if you can not order special in-flight meals on JAL Web site.
• Please make order after you have confirmed schedule changes.
• The inflight meal reservation service is not available on the following situations :
  
  • The passnger has booked a tour package (group tour)
  • The booked flight has been canceled
  • The passnger has booked codeshare flights operated by JAL but bearing a flight number of another airline.

  Q:Can Business Class inflight meals be reserved for children as well?

  A:Yes, meals can also be reserved for children.

  Q:Can Business Class inflight meals be reserved even when a separate special meal has already been reserved?

  A:If you have booked a special meal that cannot be booked on JAL website, this reservation service will not be available for you.

  Q:I tried to make an inflight meal reservation from the JAL website but was told that the meal I selected exceeded the allowed number of meal reservations.

  A:If you have exceeded the allowed number of inflight meal reservations, please state your request once you have boarded your flight.

  Q:I would like to change the details of an inflight meal I have reserved but the reservation deadline has already passed. What should I do?

  A:Reservation changes cannot be made once the deadline has passed. Please state your request once you have boarded your flight.

  Q:If I have changed my flight on JAL website after making my inflight meal reservation, do I need to reserve my inflight meal again?

  A:No. Your inflight meal record will be transferred to the new flight. However, if meal reservation quota is exceeded on your new flight, your reservation will not be available.
