Traveling with babies and small children
The following services are provided on Japan Airlines' aircraft for infants and small children on international routes.
To use some services requiring reservation, please contact us in advance.

Please be reminded that the escort of a child, under 2 years of age, must be 16 years or older at the time of boarding on JAL international flights (*).
- *Itineraries with only JAL domestic flights are not included. For codeshare flights, operating ariline's regulation applies.
At departing airport
Strollers
You may use your baby stroller up to the boarding gate at some airports.
Please ask the airport personnel if this is possible when you check-in.
- *Space on board is limited, so checking-in your stroller is strongly encouraged. Checked
strollers will be returned to you as quickly as possible upon arrival.
Please use the free baby stroller service provided by your departure airport. No reservation is required. Please note that your request may not always be honored due to supply issues.
Baby stroller lending service at the airport: The number is limited. Appreciate your understanding in advance.

Bassinets
Our bassinets are ideal for infants weighing up to 10.5kg (age 2).
Dimensions (length: 72 cms, width: 30cms, and depth: 15 cms).
Please note that bassinets are available in limited numbers and reservation may not always be possible.
Child seat
Please apply for the service at least 96 hours prior to departure time.

Kao Brand “Merries” diapers available in M & L sizes.
