How to request post-flight credit for JMB partner airlines on the JAL website.

1:Prepare your e-ticket itinerary/receipt or ticket receipt and your boarding pass.
  • *If the name on your boarding pass is different from your JMB registered name (due to maiden name/married name or for other reasons), post-flight credit cannot be requested on the JAL website. Please submit your request by postal mail.

2:On the request entry screen, enter your flight date, flight number, boarding class, and booking class.

Flight number:
If you traveled on a code-share flight designated under a different flight number than the operating airline, please enter the flight number printed on your e-ticket itinerary/receipt or ticket receipt.

Booking class:
Booking class is the class designated by the airline based on fare. Your booking class may not be indicated on your e-ticket itinerary/receipt or ticket receipt in some cases*. If you cannot determine your booking class, please inquire with the airline or travel agency that you booked with, or submit your post-flight credit request by postal mail.

3:Enter the flight sector traveled.

When you enter the airport name, possible flight sector(s) will be displayed.

  • Please enter the airport name correctly, as a list of possible flight sectors may be displayed.
    Example: New York
  • John F. Kennedy Airport
  • LaGuardia Airport
  • Newark Airport
4:Enter your ticket number.

Please enter the ticket number printed on your e-ticket itinerary/receipt or ticket receipt.

  • *The first three digits identify the airline that issued the ticket.
    Examples:
    AA:001 CX:160 LA:045
    AF:057 EK:176 MU:781
    BA:125 QF:081 QR:157
  • *If there are many flights involved, the ticket number may be similar to the example below. In this case, please enter 13 digits starting from the left.
    Example: For ticket number 001 1234567890-91, please enter 0011234567890.

5:Please allow 1-4 weeks for your miles to be reflected to your account.

From the day after you enter the required information, clicking the bell icon on your JMB account page after you log in to your account will display a JMB message. This message will continue to be displayed while your post-flight credit request is being processed.

  • *If the JMB message is displayed, it means that your post-flight credit request is still being processed.
  • *If you are requesting post-flight credit for more than one flight, the message will continue to appear until all of the relevant miles are reflected to your account.
6:After the message disappears from your Individual account page, verify that your miles have been credited to your account.

If your miles have not been properly credited to your account, please verify the following.

  1. Is your booking class eligible for mileage accrual?
    To determine whether your booking class is eligible for mileage accrual, select the airline you traveled with from the airline list.

    • *The F, C, or Y printed on your boarding pass refers to your cabin class - it does not refer to your booking class.To determine your booking class, please refer to your e-ticket itinerary/receipt or ticket receipt. If your booking class is not indicated on your e-ticket itinerary/receipt or ticket receipt, please contact the airline or travel agency that you booked with.
  2. Is the airline that operated the flight eligible for mileage accrual?
    To determine whether the airline is eligible for mileage accrual, select the airline you traveled with from the airline list.

    • *If you traveled on a code-share flight that was purchased on an eligible airline but operated by a different airline, the operating airline may be ineligible for mileage accrual.
      Example of a flight that is ineligible for mileage accrual:
      Purchased flight: China Eastern Airlines (MU)
      Operating airline: Shanghai Airlines (FM)
  3. If you believe that your flight is eligible for mileage accrual, including meeting requirements 1 and 2 above, please request post-flight credit by postal mail within six months after your flight date.
