How to Accumulate Flight Mileage and Request Post-Flight Credit
JAL Group Domestic Flights
If you did not provide your JMB membership number before your flight, or if you find a discrepancy in your mileage records, you may request post-flight credit for up to six months after the flight date.
Requests for flights that are flown before joining JMB will be accepted (with the exception of requests for bonus mileage) if the post-flight credit request is made within six months after the flight.
- To request post-flight credit for Japan domestic flights purchased with the flight number of another airline, please follow the steps for requesting post-flight credit for JMB partner flights.
Post-flight credit is required in the following cases
- When you did not provide your JMB membership number before your flight
- When you did not register your mileage through a self-service kiosk
- When the flight was boarded after enrolling with JMB but before the arrival of your JMB membership card
- When you find a discrepancy in your mileage records
- When only certain flights in your itinerary will be credited to the JMB program
- When your flight mileage is not credited after your flight, despite having taken the necessary mileage registration steps
How to Register Post-Flight Credit
Post-flight credit requests for JAL Group domestic flights are accepted from three days after boarding.
Requests for post-flight credit are also accepted by phone or postal mail.
- Those living in Asia (excluding Japan) and Oceania are Post-flight credit requests cannot be made by phone.
Please mail the two required documents to the address below.

Documents required for post-flight credit requests made by postal mail
1. Boarding pass (original) or information slip (original) with JMB member's name
2. Memo indicating your JMB membership number (7 or 9 digits), full name, registered address, telephone number and date of birth
- Documents sent to the JMB Center will not be returned. Please retain copies of the required documents until you verify that the mileage has been properly credited to your account.
- Post-flight credit requests made without submitting the required documents will not be accepted.
- To request post-flight credit for JAL code-share flights operated by Jetstar Japan, please call or send required documents to the JMB Center of your country/region of residence.
JAL International Flights and JMB Partner Flights
If you did not provide your JMB membership number before your flight, or if you find a discrepancy in your mileage records, you may request post-flight credit for up to six months after the flight date.
Requests for flights that are flown before joining JMB will be accepted (with the exception of requests for bonus mileage) if the post-flight credit request is made within six months after the flight.
If you requested post-flight credit for JMB Partner Airlines on JAL website, you may be contacted by the JAL Mileage Bank Center to confirm your information via e-mail sent to your e-mail address which is registered in JMB membership information.

- When the flight was boarded after enrolling with JMB but before the arrival of your JMB membership card

How to Register Post-Flight Credit
For members living outside of Japan will be able to request post-flight credit for Air France (AF) and LATAM Airlines (LA/ XL) flights by postal mail only.
For the post -flight credit for JMB Partner airlines, please be advised that the JAL Mileage bank Center may contact you via e-mail to the e-mail address upon enrollment in JAL Mileage bank regarding the details of your post-credit application when the request is made on JAL website.
Requests for post-flight credit are also accepted by postal mail.

1. e-ticket itinerary/receipt (copies accepted)
(must show the ticket number, fare, booking class, and other relevant information)
- For flights on Jetstar Japan (GK), the itinerary issued by Jetstar Japan is required instead of the e-ticket itinerary/receipt.

2. Boarding pass (original) or JAL home print boarding pass (copies accepted)
- Passengers who used a JAL mobile boarding pass for direct boarding do not need to send their JAL home-printed boarding pass to be credited mileage.
If you used a mobile boarding pass, please indicate so in the memo described in [3.] below.
3. Memo indicating your JMB membership number (7 or 9 digits), full name, registered address, telephone number and date of birth
- Documents sent to the JMB Center will not be returned. Please retain copies of the required documents until you verify that the mileage has been properly credited to your account.
- Post-flight credit requests made without submitting the required documents will not be accepted.
JAL mileage will be credited either to the JMB membership number listed in the reservation record or to a JMB partner airline's frequent flyer membership number. Transferring or combining mileage credits between JMB and other mileage programs (including mileage programs operated by JMB partner airlines) is not permitted.
