Notices

The monorail combining T1 and T2 at FRA called "SKYLINE" will be undergoing maintenance.

Therefore the monorail service will be a completely close from November 13 - December 3, 2023, a duration for 3 weeks.
An air and landside replacement traffic by shuttle busses will be installed by the airport owner Fraport.
Passenger will have to uses these busses for transiting at FRA between T1 and T2 or also to proceed from the any public landside point from T1 to T2 and vice versa.

Transfers

The departure terminal depends on the connecting flight. After arrival, please check the departure terminal of your connecting flight on the information board.
When transferring to a domestic flight or a flight within the Schengen Zone, please carry out immigration procedures at Frankfurt International Airport before proceeding to the departure terminal for your connecting flight.

Passengers transferring from Japan Airlines to non-oneworld member airlines

Boarding pass

If you do not have your connecting boarding pass, please proceed to the departure terminal for your connecting flight and carry out the check-in procedure at the connecting airline's transfer counter.

Checked baggage

Please collect your checked baggage at the "final destination" recorded on the baggage claim tag you received upon departure. If you did not check your baggage through to your final destination, you will need to complete arrival procedures into Germany at the arrival terminal, collect your baggage, and then proceed to the terminal for your departure flight where you will need to check the baggage in again at the departures counter for your connecting airline.

Passengers transferring from non-oneworld member airlines to Japan Airlines

Check-in

Passengers connecting to JL408 should check in at the Japan Airlines Counter (D Hall, counters 816-820) on level 2 of Frankfurt International Airport or at the departure gate counter.

Checked baggage

If you are connecting from an airport within Europe and you checked your baggage through to your final destination at your departure point, you do not need to collect your baggage at Frankfurt International Airport.

Lounge

JAL First Class Lounge, Sakura Lounge

Pass through Immigration on level 3, then proceed to Hall D on the right-hand side. The lounge is about 100 meters ahead on the right.

JAL (Terminal 2) → Terminal 1 55 minutes
