Temporary suspension of self-service check-in, Kiosk
From December 12th, 2023, self-service check-in, Kiosk is temporariliy suspended, due U.S government order.

There is no quarantine check when entering the United States.

About the APC KIOSK (Automated Passport Control KIOSK)
The immigration and customs inspection methods at Los Angeles Airport(TBIT) have been simplified from 26th October, 2020. Therefore, the APC kiosk used for immigration is no longer available, and the customs declaration form that the passenger has to fill out in the cabin is not required. Also fingerprint collection is no longer necessary except for first-time visitors to the US.

Please show your passport at customs. If you have any items to declare, please declare them to an official.
Pets
Prior reservation is necessary if you wish to bring your pet, as the transportation environment within the aircraft needs to be prepared.

Departure regulations
Check-in
- Check-in opens 3 hours prior to departure.
- Please go to A counter (A11 - B20) on level 3 of the Tom Bradley International Terminal to check in.
Security check
Your carry-on baggage will be examined, and there will be a check for liquids in your possession.

Immigration
You do not have to go through Immigration when departing the United States.
Please hand in the immigration card* you completed upon arrival to airline staff.
If you do not hand in the card, you may face delays in the future when trying to enter the United States.
- *If you have ESTA and you entered the US on the Visa Waiver Program, you do not need to submit an immigration card.
- *The issue of this card has been discontinued as of May 2013, but if you entered the country prior to this date and have one attached to your passport, please hand it in.
Customs
There is no customs inspection when departing from the United States.
Lounge
Qantas First Lounge
This lounge is for First Class passengers and members of JMB Diamond and JGC Premier.
The lounge is located after Security. Go straight on and take the elevator to level 5.
oneworld Lounge
This lounge is for Business Class passengers and members of JMB Sapphire and JAL Global Club.
The lounge is located after Security. Take the elevator located in the center of the duty-free shopping area up to level 5.
Los Angeles International Lounge
This lounge is for Economy Class Normal Fare passengers and Premium Economy Class passengers.
The lounge is located after Security. Go straight on and take the elevator to level 6.
