When a minor aged 18 years or under is traveling into the United Kingdom alone or with a guardian who is not a parent or parent of one of the children, please download the consent form for UK entry from the following URL, fill it out in English and present it to the immigration inspector.

The Fast Track service is currently unavailable.
Information about e-Gates
- All passport holders of these countries are eligible to use the eGate : USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore and South Korea
- However, children under 12, short term students staying less than 6 months, Tier 5 creative and sporting temporary worker visas need to proceed the passport control.
Customs
Duty-free applies to tobacco and alcohol purchases by passengers aged 17 and above.
If your goods are not in excess of the duty-free limit, please proceed to the green customs lane.
Otherwise, please proceed through the red customs lane and make a verbal declaration of the goods you are bringing in.
Pets
Prior reservation is necessary if you wish to bring your pet, as the transportation environment within the aircraft needs to be prepared.

For JL42, the check-in opens 2 hours 35 minutes prior to departure.
Please check in at Zone C of Terminal 3.
For JL44, the check-in opens 3 hours prior to departure.
Please check in at Zone E of Terminal 3.
Please note that the maximum weight per item of checked baggage on JAL Group flights leaving from London Heathrow International Airport must not be in excess of 32kg (70lbs).

Your carry-on baggage will be checked in an X-ray machine.

Immigration is sometimes unmanned. In that case, please proceed through without inspection.

The Fast Track service is available for First/Business class passengers, JGC Premier/JGC, JMB Diamond/Sapphire and oneworld Emerald/Spphire status holders.
Customs
The VAT refund is no longer available.
*If you are returning to Japan via transfer from another EU country, you will need to carry out customs procedures at the airport from which your Japan-bound flight departs. It is still possible that you may be asked to present the items for inspection, so please ensure that you do not put them in your checked baggage on the connecting flight.
