If you wish to change your flight or request a ticket refund due to an involuntary schedule change or cancellation, you can do so on the JAL Website or through the JAL Contact Center.
The below rules and procedures apply to flights operated by the JAL Group.

JAL international tickets and EMDs (tickets and EMDs issued by JAL and beginning with 131) that include rescheduled or cancelled flights
If you wish to cancel a trip due to the schedule change or cancellation, we will refund the unused segment of your ticket.
If a flight cancellation or aircraft change results in a change to a lower class of service, the fare difference will be refunded. Please contact with the airline or travel agency you booked with after the trip is completed. Please note, however, that there may be no refund depending on the fare type.

Cancellations and refunds may not be available on the JAL website for some reservations. If this is the case, you can use the refund form to request a refund.

Before start of travel: Within 1 year and 30 days of the ticket issue date
After start of travel: Within 1 year and 30 days of the travel start date
Within 1 year and 30 days of the EMD issue date
Before start of travel: The full fare, charges, taxes, miles, etc. paid
After start of travel:The fare*1, charges, taxes, miles, etc. for unused sectors.
No refund charge will apply.
