Face Express
It is a check-in method using the facial recognition system.
Conventionally, it was necessary to present your passport and boarding pass to the staff many times to confirm your identity when you use international flights.
Face Express checks your passport against your face when you check in and registers your face information, therefore, it is not necessary to show your passport and boarding pass after that.
- This service may not be available depending on flight conditions and other reasons.
Please be aware that it is necessary to have your boarding pass and passport on hand in such cases. - Departure screening is not eligible for Face Express

STEP1 Arrived at Haneda Airport Terminal 3!!
This mark indicates the Face Express device!
STEP2 Please proceed to the JAL counter in the departure lobby on the third floor
STEP3 Completing the check-in procedure at self check-in kiosk
- Obtain boarding pass and baggage tag by self check-in kiosk
→Please put the baggage tag on your baggage by yourself.

- Please take off your mask,sunglasses and hat before you start.
- Facial recognition registration is available even if you have already checked your baggage.
Please proceed to the Self Baggage Drop if you have check-in baggage
- Turn your face to the camera and start facial recognition and Put your baggage in Self Baggage Drop. Follow the guidance to operate the system. The baggage goes through to complete the process.
- Not necessary to show your boarding pass and passport during the process.

- Facing the camera at the foot mark part for authentication
- Passengers using 'Face Express' are also requested to board in the order of the groups indicated on their boarding pass.

This mark indicates the Face Express device!
STEP2 Please proceed to counter K in the departure lobby on the third floor

About use
No prior application is required and this service is free of charge.
- Height 135 cm - 190 cm recommended
- Registered face details information is automatically deleted within 24 hours.
- This system service is provided by Tokyo International Airport (TIAT) and Narita International Airport (NAA).
- Kindly note that Face Express may not be available at the counter or boarding gate.
Customers who may not be able to use this service
- Infant
- A third party is required to operate the terminal and pass through the gate for this service.
- I have already registered user data for separate flights on same day at Narita International Airport (NAA) and Tokyo International Airport (TIAT).
- Without valid IC passport
- Unable to recognize due to wearing a mask, sunglasses, or other accessories.
- If you do not meet the usage criteria for each procedure performed at the airport
- When the airport company that provides this service and our company judge that it is not suitable for using this service.
