JAL International Flights - Stronger Ties in the Skies.

JAL operate between Tokyo(Narita) and Boston, New York, Chicago, Los Angels, San Diego, Vancouver, and Tokyo(Haneda) and San Francisco.American airline operate between Tokyo(Narita) and Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles.

It will increase flight frequency on its Tokyo (Narita) - New York (JFK) route from 7 weekly roundtrip flights to 14 weekly roundtrip flights, starting March 30, 2014. The second daily flight from Tokyo (Narita) to New York (JFK) will depart Narita in the evening, and the return flight from New York will depart in the morning to provide customers with more travel options and convenience. Additionally, the new service will offer improved accessibility to and from South America, where demand for air travel is robustly growing. JAL's newest service will also significantly shorten transit times via New York for customers traveling to/from South America.

San Diego is situated on the coast to the far south of California, approximately 200 km south of Los Angeles. It is the second largest city in California and has the 8th largest population in America (approximately 1.38 million people). San Diego is convenient for the South California and Mexico region.

From San Diego to Tijuana it takes approximately 30km which is 30min by car. From San Diego to La Jolla it takes approximately 20km which is 20min by car. From San Diego to Oceanside it takes approximately 60km which is 40min by car. From San Diego to Irvine it takes approximately 140km which is 1.5hr by car. From San Diego to Anaheim it takes approximately 150km which is 1.5hr by car.

The JAL San Diego service is extremely convenient for passengers travelling to southern California and Mexico, including Tijuana and other nearby cities, and allows us to offer you a smoother trip.
San Diego International Airport is also a compact airport, and travel both within the airport and out to the city can be accomplished quickly.
Close to cities and only about 15 minute car ride to the city center.

The operating schedule for American domestic flights departing and arriving in Los Angeles has been adjusted to reduce the wait times, allowing for speedy connections between American and JAL flights.
