It will increase flight frequency on its Tokyo (Narita) - New York (JFK) route from 7 weekly roundtrip flights to 14 weekly roundtrip flights, starting March 30, 2014. The second daily flight from Tokyo (Narita) to New York (JFK) will depart Narita in the evening, and the return flight from New York will depart in the morning to provide customers with more travel options and convenience. Additionally, the new service will offer improved accessibility to and from South America, where demand for air travel is robustly growing. JAL's newest service will also significantly shorten transit times via New York for customers traveling to/from South America.
