JMB elite and JMB elite plus benefits: Sakura Lounge e-coupons
Lounge e-coupons can be used to access Sakura Lounges before your domestic or international JAL Group flight.
- Please allow some time for lounge access to become available to you (for lounge e-coupons to be reflected to your account) after applying.
Eligible flights
JAL Group domestic and international flights
- Lounge access is available only when traveling on JAL Group flights.
- Lounge access is not available when traveling on codeshare flights operated by other airlines with JAL flight numbers or flights operated by JAL with other airlines' flight numbers.

- Lounge coupons cannot be used to access domestic Diamond Premier Lounges, international JAL First Class Lounges, and international common lounges.

Lounge access period
[First qualification] From the day the lounge e-coupons are reflected to your account until March 31 of the following year

- Details of issued coupons can be viewed on your account page after JMB login on the JAL website.
Timing for posting lounge e-coupons
Lounge e-coupons will be reflected to your lounge coupon account based on the following schedule:
[First qualification] Around the 10th of the month after the requirements are met
[Subsequently] Around one to two weeks after the requirements are met
- No coupons for subsequent qualifications will be issued in March 2024. Coupons will next be issued in March 2025.
How to verify your lounge e-coupons
Your lounge e-coupons can be verified from "Available lounges" on the JAL website (PC site) after JMB login.

About lounge access
- Lounge access is available only to the member to whom the lounge coupon was issued to. Lounge coupons cannot be used by traveling companions.
- Lounges cannot be accessed if your JMB membership number was not provided when booking your flight or when traveling on inclusive tour fares (such as tours) for which JMB membership numbers cannot be registered.
- Lounge access is available only at your departure airport.
- Please note that lounge access may not be available when lounges are fully occupied.
- If you have lounge coupons issued via promotions in addition to lounge coupons issued via JMB elite or JMB elite plus benefits, as a general rule, the lounge coupons issued via promotions will be deducted from your account first.
How to access a lounge
Domestic Sakura Lounges
To enter a lounge, please hold your boarding medium (2D barcode on your boarding pass or e-ticket itinerary/receipt, IC card, etc.) over the barcode reader at the lounge entrance.
International Sakura Lounges
When entering the lounge, please present your boarding medium to the lounge staff and mention that you will be using a lounge e-coupon.
