Information
JAL and Jetstar Japan's domestic connection flight check - in counter is closed from October 25, 2016. For customers connecting from JAL international flights to JAL codeshare flights operated by Jetstar Japan (Terminal 3) , please use inter-terminal bus opearted by Narita Airport (approximately 4 minute ride) .

*Flights operated by Jetstar Japan will depart from and arrive at Terminal 3.

Please come to the Security check area no later than 20 minutes prior to departure, and proceed to your departure gate no less than 10 minutes prior to departure.

On the 2nd floor, there is security, toilets (wheelchair accessible), and elevators.On the 3rd floor, there is the Sakura Lounge.

On the 1st floor, there are check-in counters for domestic flights, Special Assistance Counter, toilets (wheelchair accessible), currency exchange offices, an airport information counters, counters for the JAL Airport Delivery Service and JAL Cell-phone Rental Service, elevators, and stairs and escalators to the 2nd floor. Outside there is a bus stop for transfers to Terminals 2 and 3.

Transfers

Transfers from JAL domestic flights to international flights (within Terminal 2)

If you have completed check-in for your connecting (international) flight and checked your baggage through to your destination, please leave the domestic arrivals lobby (level 2) and proceed to the dedicated International Transfers Area in the nearby domestic departures lobby (level 2). There you will pass through a Security check and Immigration before making your way to your international departure gate. These transfers take 60 minutes.

Other passengers should complete arrival procedures and then make their way to the international check-in counters in Terminal 2.

Transfers from international flights to JAL domestic flights (within Terminal 2)

After completing all arrival procedures such as Immigration and baggage claim, please proceed to the domestic check-in counters in Terminal 2.

  • *Check-in opens from 07:00.
  • *When returning home to Japan, your baggage will be inspected at Narita Airport Customs.
    Please retrieve your checked baggage at the international baggage claim area and take it to the customs inspection area. When the customs inspection is complete, check your baggage in again at the domestic counter.

Transfers from domestic flights to Terminal 1 flights

After completing arrival procedures, please proceed to the bus stop on level 1 and take the inter-terminal shuttle bus to Terminal 1.
