Effective April 1, 2025, the JAL Global Club initial registration fee will be decreased to 2,000 miles.
Please note that for the 2025 service year, JAL Global Club membership will be renewed upon the deduction of the 2,000 miles renewal fee which was waived for the previous service year.
JAL Global Club (JGC) is an exclusive membership program that offers special services and benefits to experienced travelers who have supported the JAL Group.
Membership Qualifications
JAL Global Club (JGC) membership is available to JMB members who meet all of the following criteria:
- Must be a JAL Mileage Bank member living in a country/area other than Japan.
- Must have accrued at least 50,000 FLY ON Points (including 25,000 FLY ON Points for JAL Group flights) or have attained at least 50 flights (including 25 JAL Group flights) and 15,000 FLY ON Points during the preceding calendar year from January to December. FLY ON Points are earned by flying on JAL Group or oneworld alliance flights flown at fares eligible for JMB mileage accrual, and
- Must comply with the JAL Global Club Membership Rules.
- Employees of airlines or their related companies are not eligible for JGC membership.
- Application for JGC enrollment must be submitted during your JMB Sapphire or JMB Diamond membership period. Please note that a membership invitation may not be sent in some situations.

Enrollment deadline: Please submit your application for JGC enrollment during your JMB Sapphire or JMB Diamond membership period.
- Once the enrollment process is completed, you will be registered as a JAL Global Club member. Your initial JGC membership is valid until March 31 of the second year following the date you qualified for JMB Sapphire or JMB Diamond status. For information about renewing your JGC membership, please refer to the Membership Renewal Qualifications section below.
Initial Registration Fee
An initial registration fee of 5,000 miles* will be deducted automatically from the JAL Global Club member's account at initial registration.
- For JAL Family Club members who are over 18 years old, 5,000 miles will be deducted from the family mileage pool.
For members with a JALCARD CLUB-A Card, CLUB-A Gold Card, JAL Diners Card, or JAL Platinum Card, no mileage is required for initial registration as it is covered by the JALCARD annual fee.
Membership Renewal
2,000 miles will be deducted from your JMB account at membership renewal.
- JAL Global Club membership will be renewed upon deduction of 2,000 miles, regardless of flight activity during the calendar year.
- Members living in a country/area other than Japan who have a JALCARD CLUB-A Card, CLUB-A Gold Card, JAL Diners Card, or JAL Platinum Card will be required to pay 2,000 miles for membership renewal, in addition to the JALCARD annual fee.
If you have a JALCARD listed above, please join JAL Global Club via the same process as members living in Japan.
Validity after Renewal : JGC membership is valid until the end of March of the following year.
Status Cards
JAL Global Club cards (JGC oneworld Sapphire cards) will be issued only upon request, as you can enjoy all of the offered services and benefits by presenting the JAL app home screen with your membership status to the relevant staff.

Changes in Registered Membership Information
If there are any changes in your registered membership information:
JAL Family Club members: Please register your new address through the JAL Family Club website after you have moved to your new address.
JMB members: Please register your new address through the JAL website
Membership Qualifications
JAL Global Club (JGC) membership is available to JMB members who meet all of the following criteria:

- Must have earned at least 1,500 Life Status Points under the JAL Life Status Program, and
- Must agree to comply with the JAL Global Club Membership Rules.
Once the enrollment process is completed, you will be registered as a JAL Global Club member. Your initial JGC membership is valid until March 31 of the following service year after the date you enrolled in JAL Global Club.
Initial Registration Fee

- For JAL Family Club members who are 18 years of age or older, 5,000 miles will be deducted from the family mileage pool.
For members with a JALCARD CLUB-A Card, CLUB-A Gold Card, JAL Diners Card, or JAL Platinum Card, the deduction of 5,000 miles at initial registration will be waived as this amount is covered by the JALCARD annual fee.
Membership Renewal
2,000 miles* will be deducted from your account at membership renewal.
- Membership will be renewed upon the deduction of 2,000 miles, regardless of your flight activity from January to December.
- Members with a JALCARD CLUB-A Card, CLUB-A Gold Card, JAL Diners Card, or JAL Platinum Card are required to pay 2,000 miles at renewal in addition to the JALCARD annual fee. Members with any of these cards will be asked to enroll in JAL Global Club via the same process as those living in Japan.
Validity after renewal: Until March 31 of the year following the date of membership renewal JAL Global Club cards (JGC oneworld Sapphire cards) will be issued only upon request, as you can enjoy all of the offered services and benefits by presenting the JAL app home screen with your membership status to the relevant staff.
