The JAL Group agrees to the intent of "Endemic Rabbit Trust Campaign" implemented by The Association of National Trusts in Japan and ask for your support of Charity Mile.

Endemic Rabbit Trust

The Association of National Trusts in Japan is acquiring a total of 100ha of forest within Setouchicho of Amami Oshima and is implementing activities to protect AMAKURO habitat in order to turn over abundant forest inhabited by national Special Natural Monument Endemic Rabbit (commonly known as Amakuro) which only inhabit in Amami Oshima and Tokunoshima Island to next generation as national asset.
The JAL Group will cooperate in the acquisition of a few sections within the 28 sections acquired as "Endemic Rabbit Trust" and name it as "JAL Endemic Rabbit's Forest".

AMAKURO Forest for All JMB Members

At the same time, in support of nature conservation activities we will call for Charity Mile from JAL Mileage Bank members in units of 3,000 miles from 17:30 (Japan Time) on April 16 (Tue), 2013 to May 31 (Fri),2013.

We will cooperate in the acquisition of the section next to "JAL Endemic Rabbit's Forest" within "Endemic Rabbit Trust" with the amount equivalent to the Charity Mile from all of you and name it "AMAKURO Forest for All JMB Members" to utilize your well wishes for the conservation of AMAKURO.

◆ Mileage for application:　We accept from 1 unit (3,000 miles) in units of 3,000 miles on JAL's website.
