The JAL Group extends its deep condolences to the people affected by the localized torrential rain on September 10, 2015 caused by Typhoon Etau which has caused major damage in Ibaraki Prefecture, Miyagi Prefecture, and other areas in northern Japan.
To assist the effort for quick recovery, the JAL Group has decided to offer support and assistance through donation. We also ask for cooperation from JMB members to support the people affected by these downpours through Charity Miles.

Donation will be accepted in units of 3,000 miles on JAL's website.
Counting one mile as one Japanese yen, JAL Group will donate the equivalent amount in cash to Central Community Chest of Japan.
Central Community Chest of Japan
Central Community Chest, organized in 1947, coordinates each local prefectural Community Chest nationwide, implementing fundraising activities such as the well-known "Red Feather Community Chest Movement" in Japan.
