Rules on Award Tickets Inclusive of JMB Partner Airlines for unaccompanied minor under 15 years of age
For applications received on/after 1 August 2009, award travel inclusive of JMB partner airlines for unaccompaniedminor(s) under 15 years of age (not reached his/her 15th birthday) will not be accepted.

On day of departure of first air segment, when an unaccompanied minor has not reached his/her 15 th birthday (without accompanying traveler aged 16 years or older) or even when the passenger is aged 15 years or older, depending on respective JMB partner airlines rules or regulations of each country or area, (in case unaccompanied travel is not permitted), JMB will not accept award travel arrangements.
After completion of a reservation, in the event the passenger is known to be an unaccompanied minor under 15 years of age, or even the passenger is aged 15 years or older, depending on the respective JMB partner airlines rules or regulations of each country or area, in the event JMB partner airlines define the passenger's age as an unaccompanied minor and such travel requires service charge or requires JMB to send a notice, or submitting documents or arrangement for meeting service upon arrival, JMB will only arrange cancellation of the reservation. And no other arrangements will be made at JMB.
In the event award travel will be cancelled for the reasons stated above, provided the award ticket is completely unused, JMB will accept mileage reinstatement service at no charge. However, at the time of mileage reinstatement arrangement, expired miles will not be reinstated. For award travel already started (1st air segment flown) and when cancellation is due to above reason, cancellation charge is not required, however, mileage will not be reinstated. JMB is not responsible for all related cost, in the event JMB partner airlines or authorities deny unaccompanied travel.
