Jetstar Japan (GK) Award Tickets

Important Information

Jetstar Japan requires that all passengers, including children and infants traveling with an adult, provide valid photographic identification. Expired identification will not be accepted. Accepted forms of photographic identification include:
Juki-card with photo (Basic Resident Register Card), valid passport, driver’s license, Government issued photo identification, student identification

Required Mileage

  • Once an award request has been completed, the number of flight sectors cannot be changed at a later transaction (such as changing from 1 flight sector to 2 flight sectors or vice versa). In order to change a one-way (1 flight sector) award ticket to a round-trip (2 flight sector) ticket, you must either request a new ticket after canceling/existing the existing ticket, or request an additional ticket to be used along with the existing ticket. If you wish to cancel one way (1 flight sector) of a round-trip (2 flight sector) ticket, the difference in the required mileage will not be returned.
  • Awards issued for children and infants who occupy their own seat require the same mileage as those issued for adults.
    Infants sharing a seat with an adult cannot travel on an award ticket and must instead have a purchased ticket issued at the infant fare for the same class of service as accompanying adult.
  • Terms and conditions may differ depending on the partner airlines. Please check the details with the relevant airline.

Validity

Award tickets are valid for 1 year from the date of commencement of travel. (Travel must commence within 1 year from the ticket issue date.)
Award tickets once issued are valid only for the flight and date reserved. Failure to travel on the reserved flight and date will result in the forfeiture of the award ticket. In this case, mileage will not be refunded (*) and the award ticket cannot be changed to a different award.

  • Excluding when the Mileage Reinstatement Service for Unused Awards is available. Mileage cannot be refunded after the departure of the first flight sector of your booked itinerary.
