Advance Preparation

Proposal of Forwarding Plan (Overall Plan)

At first, we would offer you the most suitable forwarding plan. The first priority would be securing the space on the requested flight, and then make detailed arrangements to suit the customer's shipping requirements.
Advance Preparation (Detail Plan)

We will make advance preparation in accordance with the forwarding plan.
Congested hours are avoided for Artwork handling with minimal movement and time.
Our professionals for Artwork handling will work up detailed forwarding plan by simulating actual handling.

Transport Flow

Delivery to warehouse

In order to minimize the risk of damage, the truck would stage close to the build-up area of the warehouse. To prevent cargo from falling over, our handling staffs will support offloading from both sides.
Build-up

In order to minimize the shock to the crates, we would utilize shock-absorbing materials and/or corner-pads, if needed. To avoid direct sunlight or rain/wind, the crates will be kept in the warehouse until the last minutes.
Loading

In order to minimize the shock to the crates, the towing tractor would drive slowly at the tarmac.

In order to secure space for safe build up, drop off time would be appointed by JALCARGO.

Delivery

In the shipper, travelled on our flight with the artwork, wishes to observe arrival handling, we will keep the unit inact until the shipper comes to the warehouse.

*The cargo delivery time may differ at some airports depending on business hours of Customs Offices.
*The cut-off time for the cargo acceptance and the delivery time may depend each airport's service standard.

FAQ

What would be the temperature, humidity conditions during flight?

Generally, temperatures vary depending on the types of aircraft or the loading position, but it is possible to maintain the temperature around 20℃ (or 68F) with conditioned air.
Humidity can not be controlled during flight.
Air pressure will be decreased to around 0.8 atm during flight.
