Special Assistance Registration Service

Registering special assistance requests with your JAL Mileage Bank (JMB) card will make your travel arrangements easier

Your name, phone number, wheelchair information, airport and inflight assistance, and inflight meal requests are all pre-registered, so there is no need to request each time you make a reservation, and check-in at the airport is smoother. If you make a reservation with our customer contact center, let us know your JMB membership number. If you make a reservation with a travel agency, provide your JMB membership number and let them know what assistance you require or any request you would like to make. Also, when you enter your JMB membership number on the JAL website for your reservation, your registration will be automatically reflected making the reservation process faster.

  • It takes about 3 weeks to register for special assistance.
  • Discounted fares are available for customers with disabilities. Please refer to the link below for more information.

Notes

  • If you need medical treatment using medical oxygen inhalation or medical equipment, or if you use a cot (stretcher), you will need a doctor's medical certificate and travel with an attendant each time, so you cannot register for Special Assistance Registration Service.

Step1

Prepare your JAL Mileage Bank (JMB) card

To apply for the Special Assistance Registration Service, you need to join the JAL Mileage Bank (JMB) program. Please prepare your JAL Mileage Bank (JMB) card or JALCARD.
If you are not a member of the JAL Mileage Bank (JMB), please join from the following link.

  • If you are not a JAL Mileage Bank (JMB) member and will join now, please make a note of your membership number when it is displayed on the final screen of the application process. The JMB membership number will be required in step 2. If you do not remember it, please proceed to step 2 after your JAL Mileage Bank (JMB) card arrives.

Step2

Apply for Special Assistance Registration Servicea

Please prepare your JMB number and apply from the link below.

Mail application

Please download and print out the Special Assistance Registration Service Application Form below and send it to us by post after filling it out.

Notes

  • Please print the application form on a blank sheet of A4 size paper. (Do not enlarge, reduce or print on both sides.)
  • Please use the address label only when sending "Special Assistance Registration Service Application".

Please fill out the "Special Assistance Registration Service Application" section on page 3 and the "About special arrangements" section on page 4 and send it to the Special Assistance Desk.
If you use the address label shown on page 6 and attach it to the envelope, JAL will cover the postage cost.
If you do not have a printer, please contact the Special Assistance Desk. We will send you the application form by post. Please fill out the necessary information and send it back in the enclosed return envelope.

  • Your personal information will be handled in accordance with the JAL Privacy Policy.

Priority Guest Card is no longer available.

If you already have a Priority Guest Card, you can continue to use it.
